Records your Polar orders, renewals and refunds through a webhook route in your app. No Stripe account needed.

What it does

  • Your route receives Polar’s order.paid and refund events and reports each one to Affitor.
  • Renewals need nothing extra: Polar sends order.paid on every billing cycle.
  • Checkout Links carry the click in the link itself: add it as ?reference_id=.

Set up in three steps

  1. Capture clicks and track signups as in the Next.js guide.
  2. Put the click and your user ID in the checkout metadata, or add the click to a Checkout Link as ?reference_id=.
  3. Add a webhook route for order.paid, refund.created and refund.updated that calls trackSale and trackRefund.
