# Sell on Stripe, credit partners without a sales API call

> Connect your Stripe account once. Stripe tells Affitor about each Checkout or subscription payment, and Affitor finds the partner who referred the buyer and writes the commission.

Stripe events credit Checkout purchases and subscription payments. A payment outside them, such as a PaymentIntent your server confirms, is not credited from Stripe: report it from your server ([Track Sale](/docs/api-reference/track-sale)).
